Enrichment Bales
Enrichment bales encourage natural behaviour of the birds, proven to enhance welfare – perching, dust bathing, reduces distress and encourages social interaction and stimulation.
They are recognised by DEFRA and Red Tractor and the bales are weather protected to prevent moisture from contaminating the straw.
The straw is dust extracted removing >90% of dust mould spores and they are treated throughout with Salgard to reduce the threat of salmonella.
